Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out what you may and may not do with Ofero. It is part of, and incorporated by reference into, our Terms of Service. Ofero is operated by Advermint.

1. Prohibited content

You must not upload, display, publish, or export content that:

  • Is unlawful, or promotes or facilitates unlawful activity.
  • Infringes the intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any person.
  • Is deceptive, fraudulent, misleading, or designed to defraud or scam others.
  • Is harmful, hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, or that incites violence.
  • Is sexually explicit, or depicts gratuitous violence.
  • Is abusive toward, or exploits, any individual or group.

2. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

  • Distribute malware, or send spam or other unsolicited or bulk communications.
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the service except as expressly permitted.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, probe, or disrupt the service, other accounts, or related systems, or otherwise abuse security.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the service, except where this restriction is prohibited by law.
  • Resell, sublicense, or make the service available to third parties except as expressly permitted.
  • Circumvent, or attempt to circumvent, usage limits, access controls, or other technical measures.

3. Your compliance responsibilities

You are responsible for the content you put into Ofero and how it is displayed. In particular:

  • You must hold all rights and the legal basis needed for every piece of content you upload, display, publish, or export.
  • You are responsible for complying with all laws and regulations applicable to you — including those covering advertising, labeling, food and menu information, pricing, alcohol and tobacco, health claims, public display, and consumer protection.

4. Enforcement

We reserve the right to remove content, restrict features, and suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy, in line with our Terms of Service. Where feasible we will give notice, but we may act immediately in urgent legal, security, or abuse situations.
